Start with buying a good court/tennis shoe which provide stability for side-to-side movement, and have a flat, durable sole. Don’t risk rolling your ankle wearing the wrong type of shoe.
Paddles can be purchased by reps from our LIPA club, purchased at local sporting goods stores, or borrow a demo paddle from LIPA to try it out first. The grip size should be comfortable in your hand with some cushion.
Always bring water and wear plenty of sunscreen and plan to have a fun time!!
